Luovin Oulun yksikössä ranskalaiset puutarha-alan opiskelijoiden vaihtojakso lähenee loppuaan. Kalseista syyskeleistä huolimatta ryhmän hymy ei ole hyytynyt ulkotöissäkään, vaan ryhmä on tehnyt töitä päivästä toiseen ilolla ja motivoituneina. Kahden viikon työssäoppimisjaksollaan ryhmä vieraili myös Luovin puutarha-alan opiskelijoiden ryhmässä, valmistaen sammal-pallon, jäkälä-kranssin ja pajupallon. Suorittivat työhön liittyvän työkortin ja tutustuivat vaahterakranssin sitomiseen. Päivä Kempeleessä oli molemmin puolin antoisa ja hauska, ryhmä hämmästeli ihaillen Suomen luonnonantimia sidonnassa.
Vapaa-ajalla ryhmä on vieraillut Luovin kokkikerhossa, valmistimme Lapinmiehen porokeittoa, kauraleipää ja perinteistä pannaria, kermavaahtoa ja hilloa unohtamatta! Omatoiminen ryhmä vietti myös päivän Rovaniemellä sekä illan tiivistunnelmaisessa Kärppä-pelissä.

French gardeners at Oulu
We have had the pleasure of hosting a group of gardening students at Oulu Unit. Five students have been working daily with Oulu´s city gardeners, and even though the harsh Finnish autumn weather the group has been outside
Yesterday the group drove to Kempele to visit Luovis gardening students, and the day was full of work, they prepared different wreaths and were astonished by the by material of the Finnish forests.
The group comes from partner school Apprentis D´Auteuil château des Vaux, whom we have had great collaboration for years with student and staff mobilities.
This exchange has been overall a great experience on both sides, we´ve enjoyed our guests company here! On their leasure time the group has participated to Luovi´s cooking club, seen an Ice hockey match .. Next spring Luovi is sending a student group to château des Vaux, stay tuned for that!
